Job summary

Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is seeking a versatile Teaching Assistant to support students and staff across the academy. The role involves 1:1 support for children with additional needs and assisting groups or individuals in the classroom, with a focus on inclusion and social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for someone who believes in inclusion for all students and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND. Responsibilities will include working 1:1 to support children with additional needs and supporting the class teacher with groups of children or individuals in the classroom. The role will involve working with children to support any social, emotional or behavioural needs.

• To assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum,

Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
