Job summary

Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students and staff at our Academy. The role emphasises inclusion and supporting children with SEND, including 1:1 support and assisting the class teacher with groups or individuals in the classroom.

You will work with children to support social, emotional or behavioural needs, maintain a calm manner, and contribute to a team. DBS checks and safeguarding are required in line with safer recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Support students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum.
• Work under the direction of the teacher in a class based environment.
• Help support and promote the Academy behaviour policy.
