Job summary

Thorpe Acre Junior School is seeking a passionate teaching assistant to provide academic, pastoral and behavioural support for children, individually or in small groups. The role is full-time, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only with 5 INSET days pro-rated.

The right candidate will be committed to safeguarding, have experience supporting children with SEND, and enjoy working with motivated, friendly learners. CPD opportunities are available to grow through mentorship and coaching.

JOB OVERVIEW: Thorpe Acre Junior School is looking for a passionate, highly skilled, full-time teaching assistant to work with children, either individually, or as part of small groups, and to deliver academic, pastoral and behavioural support, whilst successfully nurturing and inspiring our children. We are a vibrant and friendly school, committed to the inclusion of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
