Stafflex Education in Huddersfield is recruiting experienced Secondary School Teaching Assistants to support local schools for the 2026/27 academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to support students one-to-one, in small groups or in class.
• A positive, adaptable approach and ability to settle quickly into different environments.
• A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• A genuine commitment to supporting young people's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons, groups or 1:1 within the classroom.
• Assist with classroom activities and supervision across multiple subjects.
• Adapt to different school environments and routines as required.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures and relevant compliance during placements.
