Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking Teaching Assistants for full-time roles in local primary schools around Folkestone and nearby areas. We welcome TAs who enjoy helping pupils develop confidence and skills, with experience in KS1, KS2 or both.

Successful candidates should have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, DBS clearance (or willingness to apply), and a flexible, supportive approach. Driving is preferred due to multiple site locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is preferred.
• SEN experience would be a bonus, but it's not essential.
• You'll need a valid DBS or be happy to apply for a new one.
• Being a driver is preferred, as roles may be across different school locations.
• A flexible, supportive approach and a genuine interest in helping pupils thrive.

Responsibilities

• Support primary school pupils across KS1/KS2 and learning needs.
• Assist different year groups and learning activities as required.
• Contribute to pupils' confidence and skill development in classroom settings.
