Job summary

Premier Education Ltd. is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support two KS2 pupils in a welcoming primary school in the New Mills area. This full-time, long-term role requires dedication to helping pupils access learning and progress.

You will work closely with the class teacher and school team, building strong relationships and providing consistent support for five days per week. UK school experience and DBS checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a UK primary school is essential.
• Experience supporting KS2 pupils is highly desirable.
• Teaching Assistant or SEND experience would be advantageous.
• A patient, positive, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable and able to commit to 5 days per week.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supporting two KS2 pupils with their learning and development.

Teaching Assistant - KS2 Long-Term Role

Location: New Mills Area

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-Term

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Pay: Competitive daily rates, paid weekly via our in-house PAYE payroll

Premier Education is working with a welcoming primary school in the New Mills area seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 5 days per week on a long-term basis.

The successful candidate will be supporting two children within Key Stage 2, helping them access learning, remain engaged in the classroom, and make positive progress.

This role requires someone who can build strong and consistent relationships with pupils and work effectively alongside the class teacher and wider school team.

Please note: Recent experience working within a UK school is essential for this position.

The Role:
