Job summary

Premier Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support two KS2 pupils in a welcoming New Mills primary school. This long-term, full-time role involves helping pupils access learning, stay engaged and make progress under the guidance of the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have recent UK school experience, strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to safeguarding. DBS Update Service preferred, with sponsorship not available.

• Reliable and able to commit to 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supporting two KS2 pupils with their learning and development.
• Providing individual and small-group support where required.
• Helping pupils remain focused, engaged, and confident in the classroom.
• Supporting learning activities set by the class teacher.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and independence.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
• Providing consistent support throughout this long-term placement.
