Job summary

Wandle Learning Trust in Battersea, London, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join Chesterton Primary School. You will support teachers in lessons, help nurture a calm, inclusive classroom, and contribute to a positive learning environment for all pupils.

We welcome graduates looking to progress in education and offer strong professional development and DBS safeguarding checks. The role is full-time, 32.5 hours per week, with a permanent contract and opportunities to train towards

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and dedicated staff. You would support the classroom teachers in teaching and learning, and contribute to a purposeful learning environment.

You will be calm and patient with the ability to inspire and motivate children. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential as well as the ability to work as part of a team. We would strongly welcome graduates looking to further their career in education with a possibility of training to become a teacher.
