Job summary

London South East Academies Trust in Newhaven is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils and help them overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to promote inclusion, positive behaviour and holistic development.

The role involves classroom and small-group support, with opportunities for professional development. It is a permanent, part-time post (32.5 hours per week, term-time only, 39 weeks).

About the role

Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential? East Sussex Academy is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our growing team.

Locations: Newhaven. Salary: From £19,014 actual salary per annum (depending on experience). Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks). Contract: Permanent.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for pupils, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will build positive relationships, promote inclusion, support behaviour for learning and make a real difference to young people's lives.
