KS1 Teaching Assistant - Year 1 or Year 2

Primary school based in Kensington

Supporting children with special educational needs within the mainstream classroom.

Salary: GBP80 - GBP110 per day (GBP400 - GBP550 per week)

Role Responsibilities:

1. Support the class teacher and children within Key Stage 1 in either Year 1 or Year 2.
2. Assist with lesson and classroom preparation, delivery, and activities.
3. Manage general classroom behavior.
4. Work with small groups of children to enhance overall success rates in key subjects.
5. Support children with special needs on a 1:1 basis.

Minimum Requirements:
To be successful for the post of teaching assistant, you will need to have at least 3 months of experience working with children. This experience can come from various backgrounds such as classroom-based, clubs, coaching, tutoring, etc. A degree or child-related qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful teaching assistant will need to be proactive, able to work on your own initiative, and have a real passion for ensuring all students receive an outstanding education.
