Primary School Teaching Assistant - Barnet

Location: Barnet, London
Position: Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

Assist individual pupils and small groups to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Support children with additional needs, including those with SEN and EAL.

Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Contribute to the wider school community and events.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A genuine passion for working with children in a primary setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Experience working in a school environment (desirable but not essential).
A relevant TA qualification or willingness to learn on the job.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
