Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join primary schools in Glossop and nearby areas. You will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum and assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.

You will work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes, encourage pupil participation and positive behavior, and act as a learning mentor to students with varying educational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in schools or childcare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
