Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants with SEN experience to support pupils across primary schools in Glossop (SK13) and surrounding areas. We offer full-time, part-time, day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles with flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Learning Difficulties.
  • Able to work with pupils of varying ages and abilities.
  • Patient, adaptable and positive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with SEN Experience to support pupils across a range of primary schools in the Glossop (SK13)and surrounding areas. We are looking for caring, patient, and passionate individuals who are committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve success in the classroom.

The Role
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Have previous experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Have experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Learning Difficulties.
  • Be confident supporting pupils across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and positive in their approach.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
