Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school located in Rainham. You will work closely with class teachers to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students across various key stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum in small groups or 1:1.
• Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behavior and preparing resources.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work with SEN pupils to meet individual learning and care needs.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Support classroom activities, outings, and school events.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role (preferred).
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
