Job summary

TailorEDucation is seeking a Teaching Assistant in the United Kingdom to join our client schools for 3-5 days a week on a long-term basis. You will support pupils’ learning, help deliver lessons or activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education, experience supporting children 1:1 and in groups, and a proactive, safeguarding-aware approach.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education.
• Experience supporting children and young people on a 1:1 and group basis.
• Nurturing and proactive approach to learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork with teachers and staff.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.

As a Teaching Assistant working with TailorEDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons or learning activities, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring pupils are inspired to achieve their best. You must have experience of working with children.
