Job summary

TailorEDucation Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across 3-5 days a week in long-term placements. You will assist with learning activities, monitor progress, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Experience with children and a proactive, nurturing approach are essential. You will work closely with teachers and school staff, contributing to safeguarding practices and ensuring pupils are inspired to achieve their best.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education.
• Experience supporting children and young people 1:1 and in groups.
• Nurturing and proactive approach to learning and development; strong communication and teamwork.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection principles.

As a Teaching Assistant working with TailorEDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils learning and development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons or learning activities, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring pupils are inspired to achieve their best. You must have experience of working with children.
