Job summary

Teaching Personnel seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Ferryhill. You will support pupils through nurture provision and targeted small-group interventions, in-class and in the afternoons, helping to boost confidence, wellbeing and engagement with learning.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with children in education, a nurturing approach, and strong teamwork and communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils and help them progress.

Qualifications

Nurture & Small Group Intervention Support - Ferryhill

Are you passionate about supporting children to build confidence, develop positive relationships and reach their full potential?

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Ferryhill, supporting pupils through a mixture of nurture provision and small-group interventions.

The Role:

This varied role will involve supporting pupils both within the classroom and through targeted nurture and intervention sessions.

You will work with small groups of pupils in the afternoons, helping to develop their confidence, emotional wellbeing, communication, social skills and engagement with learning.

You may also support pupils with targeted interventions, adapting activities to meet individual needs and helping children make positive progress.

We Are Looking For:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
