Job summary

Teach South Sussex is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Peacehaven and the surrounding areas. Whether you're seeking day-to-day supply or longer-term placements, we offer flexible opportunities across the academic year.

You will support pupils in the classroom, work with teachers to create a positive learning environment, and may assist with 1:1 or small-group interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or within a school setting.
• Enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to adapt confidently to different school environments.

Responsibilities

Teach South Sussex is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Peacehaven and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply or a longer-term position, we have a variety of opportunities available to suit your availability. We are working closely with local schools to recruit Teaching Assistants for day-to-day bookings, as well as full-time and part-time long-term placements throughout the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils within the classroom, working alongside class teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Some roles may also involve providing 1:1 support or working with small intervention groups to help children achieve their full potential.
