Teach South Sussex is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary pupils across Peacehaven and the surrounding areas in East Sussex. You’ll assist class teachers, nurture a constructive learning environment, and adapt to different school settings.

Teach South is recruiting Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Peacehaven and surrounding areas in East Sussex. This full-time or part-time temporary role pays £427 to £450 per week, offering flexibility through day-to-day supply bookings or longer-term placements within the academic year. You will support pupils in classroom settings, assisting class teachers in fostering a constructive learning atmosphere. Responsibilities may include delivering one-to-one assistance or guiding small intervention groups to help children reach their potential. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability to meet varying school needs. Prior experience in a school environment is advantageous but not essential, as local schools value commitment and a genuine interest in pupil progress.
