Job summary

Teach South Sussex is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Peacehaven and Newhaven from September. We have full-time opportunities, including long-term and ongoing placements, with 1:1 support and classroom assistance across EYFS–KS2.

You’ll join a supportive education consultant network and gain varied experience across settings, with competitive daily rates and the potential for long-term or permanent roles for the right candidate.

Teach South Sussex is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Peacehaven and Newhaven areas from September. We have a variety of full-time opportunities available, including both long-term and ongoing assignments.

The roles available include:

• 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Classroom Teaching Assistant positions supporting the class teacher
• General learning support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience working with children, either within an education setting or another childcare environment
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Full-time availability from September
