Part-Time Teaching Assistant (KS2 Support – 2 Afternoons a Week)
Location: Eastbourne
Pay: £83.40 - £95.26 per day (Pro Rata)
Hours: 2 afternoons per week (flexible on days)
Contract Type: Part-Time Supply

Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex.

We are currently seeking a passionate and flexible Teaching Assistant (TA) to support a Key Stage 2 student in Eastbourne for two afternoons per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a nurturing approach who wants to make a meaningful difference in a child's educational journey. Days are flexible to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to a KS2 pupil during afternoon sessions
• Work closely with the class teacher to implement effective learning strategies
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Promote student well-being and encourage confidence and independence
• Contribute to planning and classroom organisation as needed

Requirements:
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work 2 afternoons per week in Eastbourne
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
