Job summary

The Red Lion in Cranfield is seeking a teaching assistant to join our friendly team. You will support our pupils with their learning under the supervision of the SENDCo, helping students in class and in small group settings.

This post is term-time only, 31.25 hours per week (8:55am to 3:4pm) including a 30-minute lunchtime supervision duty. The salary is set at NJC point 4 on the local authority scale.

• Experience supporting pupils with learning needs (SEND).
• Ability to work in class and small groups.

Job description

We are keen to recruit a teaching assistant to join our existing team. You will work with supportive and collaborative colleagues in supporting our pupils with their learning under the supervision of the SENDCo. We have a wide range of students with additional needs and our teaching assistants work with the students both in class and in small group settings. SALARY SCALE: NJC point 4

HOURS: 31.25 hours per week includes a 30 minute lunchtime supervision duty (8.55am to 3.4pm, Monday to Friday, term time only)
