Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with learning across primary schools in Raunds, Rushden and Wellingborough. You will provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support, foster independence, and help create a safe, inclusive environment where every child can succeed.
This role suits someone with experience working with children or young people with SEND, including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH needs.

Compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience delivering high-quality support and interventions in a range of primary schools in the greater Northamptonshire area. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You will support pupils with their learning, encourage independence, promote engagement in lessons and activities, and help create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where every child can succeed.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that enables every pupil to thrive. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties, learning disabilities, or social, emotional and mental health needs.

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
