Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work across Northamptonshire, supporting children with additional needs in specialist and mainstream settings.

You will work closely with teachers to provide personalised support for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND needs; driving is desirable for travel across sites in Northamptonshire.

Qualifications

  • Previous SEND experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
  • A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
  • Driving is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential where appropriate experience is held.

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, long-term role in Northamptonshire?

We are currently recruiting experienced SEND TAs to work across a range of specialist and mainstream schools throughout Northamptonshire, supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality, individualised support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.

You may be supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, complex needs, communication difficulties and other SEND requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
