NextGen Teachers are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils at a specialist SEND school in Burgess Hill. The role is full-time, term-time only, starting September 2026, with a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway and a daily rate of £100.
You will work with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide individual and small-group assistance, helping pupils access learning and develop independence in a calm, nurturing environment.
Location:Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Pay:£100 per day
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:45am–4:00pm (5:00pm finish on Tuesdays)

You will be joining an experienced and supportive team where pupils receive personalised support in acalm, nurturing and structured environment.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual and small-group support to help pupils access their learning, develop independence and build confidence.
You will work closely withteachers, therapists and specialist support staff, using personalised strategies to meet each pupil's individual needs.
