NextGen Teachers are seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Burgess Hill. You’ll support children with additional needs through 1:1 and small-group work, collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement personalised strategies in a calm, nurturing environment.

Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Pay: 100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am-4:00pm (5:00pm finish on Tuesdays)
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only, 12-Week Temp-to-Perm

You will be joining an experienced and supportive team where pupils receive personalised support in a calm, nurturing and structured environment.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual and small-group support to help pupils access their learning, develop independence and build confidence.
You will work closely with teachers, therapists and specialist support staff, using personalised strategies to meet each pupil's individual needs.

Experience supporting SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs is desirable, but it isn't essential.
