Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with SEN in Bolton. The role requires patience, empathy and a proactive approach to learning and development.

You will work closely with the class teacher to implement engaging activities, support academic tasks, personal growth and social skills, and help maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Formación

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally KS1 or SEN.
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with special educational needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting childrens learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support as a Teaching Assistant to a KS1 pupil with SEN
• Work closely with the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant to implement learning activities
• Support the pupil in academic tasks, personal development, and social skills as a Teaching Assistant
• Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and resources as a Teaching Assistant
• Build trusting relationships and act as a reliable Teaching Assistant for the pupil

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a KS1 or SEN setting
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach as a Teaching Assistant
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant : desirable but not essential
