Job summary

Lady Katherine Leveson CE Primary School is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil with an EHCP. You will support communication and learning needs, adapting lessons and delivering targeted interventions to promote engagement and progress.

The role runs 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only plus INSET days, 32.5 hours per week, until 31 August 2026 with a view to extend. The school is part of Birmingham Diocesan MAT and values inclusive education.

Job Title: - One to one Teaching and Learning Assistant (Child Specific)

Reporting to - Headteacher and SENCO

Salary: - Band 2, Point 5 £20,238.19 actual per annum (£26,428.00 FTE)

Working Hours: 8.30am -3.30pm, Monday-Friday, Term-time only plus INSET Days, 32.5hrs per week - This is a fixed term position until 31/08/2026 (with a view to extend).

We are looking for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school. You will support a child with an EHCP. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in supporting children with communication and learning difficulties and a commitment to inclusive education. They will bring their proven skills in adapting learning, delivering targeted interventions and implementing strategies that promote engagement and progress.
