Job summary

Katherines Primary Academy and Nursery in Harlow is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to assist pupils with their learning under the guidance of the class teacher. The role is 32.5 hours term-time plus insets, with a pro-rata actual salary around £18k per year.

You will be an enthusiastic role model with strong communication, supporting a nurturing environment and opportunities for professional development within NET Academies.

Qualifications

  • Experience of supporting pupils in a primary setting.
  • Ability to work with teachers and independently where appropriate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with learning under the guidance of the class teacher.

Learning Support Assistant

Hours: 32.5 hrs term time + insets (36.4 working weeks)

Salary: Pt 4-5 (FTE £25,914 - £26,312)

Actual Salary: £18,203.55 - £18,483.13

Katherines Primary Academy are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team. The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside, and individually from class teachers.
