Chapel Hill Primary School & Nursery is growing - and we are looking for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to grow with us. Opened in September 2024, Chapel Hill is a wonderful, modern and ambitious new school which is rapidly establishing itself as an exceptional place to learn and work.

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support in Key Stage 1. Duties will include supporting pupils during lessons, swimming, PE, break and lunchtimes and preparing teaching resources and displays. There will also be the opportunity to run small intervention groups, boosting children's potential in assessments.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels
  • An excellent team worker who is flexible where required
  • Have experience within the Primary phase
  • Be able to work under your own initiative
  • Be able to promote and foster pupil independence
  • Have excellent communication skills, including written
  • Have GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and Maths (A*-C/9-4) (preferable, but not essential)
  • Have a history of improving pupils' performance
  • Be smartly presented, with excellent time management skills
