Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Coach to mentor staff and drive inclusive practices for EHCP and High Needs learners. You will help develop CPD, share best practices, and collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure consistency across the team.

The role focuses on exemplary teaching, coaching, and the use of technology-enhanced approaches to improve student outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate exemplary teaching practice and inspire colleagues to adopt inclusive strategies that improve outcomes for EHCP and High Needs learners.
• Support and Develop Staff by providing one-to-one coaching, mentoring new staff and delivering CPD sessions during central CPD days and weekly TLA cycles
• Promote creative and technology-enhanced approaches to teaching and learning that engage and empower students.
• Contribute to TLA audits, Quality Cycles, and improvement processes, develop and maintain a central bank of TLA resources for teachers, and keep accurate records of monitoring and tracking systems.
• Build strong links with curriculum teams to provide tailored support and share best practice, working closely with the other Teaching and Learning Coaches so there is consistency to approach across the team.

What skills and experience we're looking for

• A consistent track record of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
• Significant experience of working with High Needs learners and students with EHCPs (mainstream or discrete settings).
• Ability to successfully mentor and coach new and established members of staff, with a focus on inclusive practice and supporting EHCP and High Needs learners.
• A degree or equivalent professional qualification (or currently working towards) or relevant equivalent experience.
