Job summary

Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School is seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support pupils across KS2. This permanent, part-time, term-time role is 24 hours per week, comprising 5 mornings and 2 afternoons, with half an hour lunchtime duty daily.

The post is paid on Grade 3 SCP 5-6, with actual annual salary around £13,876–£14,096 for term-time hours, and will be part of the Keys Academy Trust CPD programme, encouraging collaboration with colleagues across its family of schools.

Grade 3 SCP 5-6 FTE £25,584 - £25,989 (subject to pay body review)

You will be involved in supporting the learning and development of children across KS2. The school is part of The Keys Academy Trust which is a primary specialist MAT committed to providing the very best educational experiences for our pupils and staff, so that our schools are recognised as centres of academic and pastoral excellence at the heart of the communities they serve. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across our family of schools as part of the Trust’s CPD programme and networking opportunities.

Main purpose:

To provide support to pupils in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures.
