Overview

This is your opportunity to make areal and lasting difference to the lives of pupils from the most disadvantagedbackgrounds. Right from the outset. Before you start in the classroom you willreceive five weeks of intensive training, getting you ready to begin teachingfrom September. You will be employed by the same school for the two years ofthe programme. During this time you will receive constant support from TeachFirst as well as your in-school mentor. By the end of your first year, you willhave received your PGCE and earned qualified teacher status.
