Job summary

Grace Darling Primary School is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join Dragonflies, our nurturing specialist provision for children with additional needs, including speech and language delay and autism.

The role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, collaborating with the SENDCo and other staff, and applying SEND strategies to raise attainment while maintaining safeguarding and records.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, supporting both their learning and emotional development
  • Ensure all documentation and records are completed in line with school policies and procedures
  • Encourage pupils to explore new interests and develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.

Grace Darling Primary School is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join Dragonflies, our nurturing and inclusive specialist provision for children with a range of additional needs, including speech and language delay and autism.

Within Dragonflies, the skilled and committed team works collaboratively to create a safe, supportive and inspiring learning environment. The provision is carefully tailored to meet each pupil's needs, in line with their education, health and care plan (EHCP).

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, working as part of a team that is deeply committed to inclusion and excellence.

Please note, interviews for this role will take place on Thursday the 30th of April.

Main Roles and Responsibilities
