What You’ll be doing

Are you passionate about helping people learn, grow and achieve their goals? We're looking for an enthusiastic Teacher Practitioner / Learning Coach to inspire and support learners across a range of Adult Skills, Apprenticeship and Tailored Learning programmes.

In this rewarding role, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching, lead interactive workshops and provide ongoing guidance that helps learners build their skills and confidence. Working closely with colleagues, you'll play a key role in creating a positive learning experience while supporting the educational and personal development of people within our community.

What we’re looking for

We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher Practitioner / Learning Coach who enjoys helping adult learners succeed. You'll be a confident communicator with a supportive and empathetic approach, able to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every learner feels valued.

You'll have experience using digital learning technologies to enhance teaching and understand the importance of quality assurance, safeguarding, equality, and supporting learners throughout their learning journey. You'll also be confident embedding English, maths and digital skills into your teaching where appropriate.

To be successful, you'll hold (or be working towards) a Level 4 teaching qualification, along with a relevant Level 3 qualification or higher in your specialist subject. A minimum Level 2 qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this) is also required. As the role involves delivering learning across the Borough, you'll need to be flexible and able to travel to different locations, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet service needs.
