Job summary

Luton Borough Council is seeking a Teacher Practitioner / Learning Coach to inspire learners and support adults across Adult Skills, Apprenticeships and Tailored Learning Programmes. You will deliver engaging classes, workshops and personalised support for diverse learners across the borough.

You will use ILT to enhance learning, contribute to safeguarding and learner wellbeing, and work across multiple sites, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 teaching qualification.
• Level 3 or higher qualification in specialist area.
• Level 2 English and maths (or willingness to achieve).
• Flexible to work across different sites within the Borough, including some evenings and weekends.
• Experience with ESOL and Functional Skills valued.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classes, workshops and personalised support across Adult Skills, Apprenticeships and Tailored Learning Programmes.
• Work with learners from a range of backgrounds, helping them build their skills, confidence and knowledge while supporting their progress and development.
• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to build their confidence and achieve their goals.
