Job summary

Horizon School in Lowestoft is seeking a Teacher or Instructor to start as soon as possible at our main site. The school is a two-site Alternative Provision for KS1–KS4, with Tier 4 CAMHS, supporting pupils who require intervention to access mainstream education.

The role focuses on delivering the mathematics curriculum to years 7–11 and other subjects as specified, with CPD support and progression opportunities.

Horizon School are seeking a Teacher or Instructor at our main school site in Lowestoft, to start as soon as possible.

Horizon School is a two-site Alternative Provision (KS1 - KS4 site and Tier 4 In-patient Youth and Adolescent CAMHS) in North Suffolk. Children come to Horizon School for intervention when they require support in managing their behaviour. This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs have not yet been identified, which are therefore creating a barrier to them accessing mainstream education.

The Role
