Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Leeds for a driven Religious Studies Teacher on a long-term basis. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with a view to permanence for the right candidate.

You will be expected to deliver engaging, hands-on lessons and implement the school’s schemes of learning to drive excellent results. QTS with Religious Studies is required; ECTs with a humanities background are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS with Religious Studies; KS3-KS4 experience preferred.
• Experience delivering Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4.
• ECTs welcome if from Humanities background.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Studies to KS3-KS4 students across the school.
• Implement schemes of learning and promote student engagement.

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a driven Religious Studies Teacher, on a Long-Term basis. This will lead to a permanent position for the rightReligious Studies Teacher.The successfulReligious StudiesTeacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / Key Stage 4.

This school is really looking for an interactive teacher who is going to have a hands-on approach to their teaching. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.
