Job summary

The Laidlaw Schools Trust is seeking a History teacher to deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will build strong subject knowledge, plan sequences of lessons, assess progress and adapt to pupils' needs.

You will collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents to support learning, contribute to curriculum development, and prepare students for examinations while raising attainment across the year group.

Qualifications

• Experience of quality teaching and learning within a school setting.
• Excellent subject knowledge and current curriculum developments.
• Knowledge and experience that equip the candidate to teach History lessons in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Experience of proactive parental engagement to foster pupil success.
• Experience of preparing students for examinations and of raising student attainment and progress.
