Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of French, with the ability to offer Spanish, to join our dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful candidate will be passionate about languages and capable of inspiring a love of French and ideally Spanish among students across Key Stages 3 and 4. A desire to contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities, is strongly encouraged.

Applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher of MFL, with French as a specialism and the ability to teach Spanish
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative, engaging teaching style
  • Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
  • Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
