The Governing Body of The Rofft School is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher for our Resourced Provision. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting children with additional learning needs and helping them to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, personalised teaching and learning for pupils with a range of additional learning needs through a highly differentiated curriculum. Working closely with teaching assistants, mainstream colleagues, parents and external agencies, they will provide tailored support that enables pupils to access learning, develop their skills, build confidence and become increasingly independent. The role will include monitoring and assessing pupil progress, coordinating Individual Development Plans and Annual Reviews, and supporting successful integration into mainstream classes where appropriate. Our Resourced Provision provides a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where pupils are valued as individuals and learning is adapted to meet their specific needs. We are looking for someone who is committed to creating positive learning experiences, fostering strong and trusting relationships with pupils and their families, and promoting an ethos of inclusion throughout the school community. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners, a strong understanding of Additional Learning Needs, and the ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team of support staff. They will play a key role in further developing our specialist provision and ensuring that every child is equipped with the skills, confidence and support needed to thrive both academically and socially.
