Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an outstanding mainstream Primary School in Worksop to recruit a dedicated Primary Teacher for a long-term role across KS1 and KS2. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, mark and assess pupils’ work, and foster a classroom where children are happy, involved and eager to learn.

Job description

Do you have at least 3 months' experience teaching in a UK primary school and feel confident across KS1 and KS2?

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join them on a long-term basis, teaching across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. This is a standard classroom teaching role, so the successful Primary Teacher will be planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking and assessing pupils' work and, most importantly, creating a classroom where children are happy, involved and ready to learn.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• A minimum of 3 months' teaching experience in a UK primary school
• A strong understanding of the KS1 and KS2 Primary Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and engaging approach to teaching
