Milk Education is recruiting a Year 3 Teaching Assistant in Liverpool, L15 to support a Year 3 class with their learning and keep pupils on track. The role starts in September and runs long-term on a temporary basis.

Year 3 Teaching Assistant

We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Liverpool, L15 to work in a Year 3 class supporting the children with their learning, keeping them on track . This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You'll be joining a supportive and nurturing school focused on helping children respect and encourage one another. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting across the Year 3 class, responding to all children's individual needs
  • Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
  • Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
  • Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting or nursery, social care , community or simialr role
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar - or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
