Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Year 3 KS2 teacher to join primary schools across Leeds. You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally during their KS2 transition.

Roles involve collaboration with experienced classroom assistants and SEN support, planning to differentiate, and assessing progress. Milk Education provides continuous pastoral support, free teaching resources, CPD opportunities and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required or eligible.
  • Experience teaching in KS2, Year 3 is desirable.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Strong classroom management and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Year 3 KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive, well-structured learning environment.
  • Differentiates learning to support pupils with SEN.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, contributing to reports and parent communication.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior leaders to support pupil outcomes.

Job description

Are you aYear 3 Teacher looking to join primary schools across Leeds. These roles are suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice within supportive Key Stage 2 settings.

You will take full responsibility for classes, delivering engaging and wellstructured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally during their transition into KS2.

Classroom & School Support
  • Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
  • Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support where required
  • Supportive and collaborative KS2 and senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver highquality lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and wellstructured learning environment
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils with SEN and additional needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
  • Contribute to reports, assessments, and parent communication
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 desirable)
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is beneficial
  • Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
  • A creative, inclusive, and childcentred approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
