Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting an ECT Primary Teacher to work in welcoming primary schools, starting in September. This role offers training, development opportunities and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

As an Early Career Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS/KS1/KS2, build positive relationships, differentiate for all learners and contribute to school life while meeting safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) status or working toward QTS.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management.
  • A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and school life.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to support pupil outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with school policies and procedures.
