Foxfields Academy is a specialist all-through school for pupils aged 4-16 with SEMH needs, seeking a qualified teacher with QTS to inspire learners.

The role involves teaching pupils with complex SEMH, building strong relationships with Y10/11, and delivering GCSE-level English or Maths where appropriate, with a possible TLR for the right candidate.

About this Role

Foxfields Academy is a specialist all-through school for pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

In KS4, we have pupils working from entry level to GCSE level. We also deliver a wide range of vocational qualifications. We are looking to appoint someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS
  • Able to teach and inspire pupils with complex SEMH needs
  • Able to build relationships with Y10/11 pupils who struggle to regulate their behaviour
  • Aspirational for our children and believes they can break down barriers to support excellent outcomes
  • A subject specialist with demonstrable previous impact
  • Has experience of teaching English or Maths to GCSE level

For the right candidate, we can also consider the possibility of a TLR being added to the job role. This can be discussed at interview.

The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
