Role Overview

As a R&D Tax Senior, you will manage a portfolio of R&D tax relief claims across a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

1. Draft and review technical reports to support claims in line with HMRC requirements.
2. Liaise with clients to gather relevant information from technical and financial discussions.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
4. Communicate with HMRC and respond to queries or requests for additional information.
5. Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Candidate Requirements

1. Previous experience as an R&D Tax Senior, Accountant, Consultant, Associate, or similar role.
2. At least 5 years of experience within a UK accountancy practice focusing on R&D tax claims.
3. CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or finalist).
4. Strong knowledge of R&D tax criteria and technical eligibility.
5. Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
