Our tax reporting team is a nationwide group of professionals focused on delivering high-quality tax audit services to our audit practice, serving both public interest and private capital markets. Team members leverage their specialist tax accounting and reporting expertise to support complex tax reporting and corporate tax compliance projects for our clients.

We are seeking ambitious individuals eager to develop a tax audit and reporting specialization to complement their existing corporate tax knowledge. We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance your work and personal life.

Role Overview:

  • Collaborate with Partners & Directors to provide tax audit services to some of the firm’s largest clients, focusing on the Public Interest market, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Engage with complex UK and international tax issues and build relationships with our overseas member firms.
  • Deliver tax reporting and complex corporate tax compliance services, supporting broader firm initiatives and advisory projects.
  • Serve as a key contact for tax reporting and audit matters, contributing to thought leadership and training on changes in accounting standards.
  • Support the operational management of the tax reporting team, including resourcing, training, and quality reviews.
  • Participate in business development activities to support growth in audit and tax services.

Candidate Profile:

We seek driven professionals with a relevant professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and post-qualification experience, interested in developing a tax reporting specialism. Skills that are advantageous include:

  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and international concepts
  • Familiarity with tax accounting standards such as IAS 12 and FRS 102.29
  • Experience in conducting tax audits as a specialist or expert
  • Experience working within professional services, managing complex assignments with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience reviewing work and supervising team members
  • Enthusiasm to deepen knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities
