Job summary

Page Personnel, based in Stoke-On-Trent, is hiring a Tax Manager to join our professional services team. You will collaborate with Tax Partners to deliver high-quality advisory work for a varied client base, including business owners and larger entities.

Ideal candidates are ATT/CTA qualified with at least 3 years PQE in tax practice, and possess strong corporate tax knowledge with VAT exposure considered a plus. This permanent on-site role offers a challenging and rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience advising OMBs on corporation tax with related income/capital gains knowledge.
• Some VAT exposure desirable.
• Proactive attitude and team collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• Be ATT/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE gained in Tax practice
• Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues primarily focusing on corporation tax but with knowledge of the income and capital gains tax issues relevant to business owners
• Have some exposure to VAT issues (an advantage, but not a necessity)
• Enjoy finding solutions to problems and really love tax
• Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small
• Be confident in working to achieve great things alongside the rest of the team
