Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd is partnering with a fast-growing consultancy in the North West to expand their Tax team. The role of Tax Manager in Altrincham offers a hybrid working model and a competitive £55,000 salary with benefits.

You will manage and develop a team, work with Tax Partners, and deliver advisory work for clients ranging in size, including supervision of complex compliance for larger clients.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA/ACCA qualification or progression.
• Experience liaising with internal teams, clients and regulators.
• Mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Be a key point of contact for clients regarding Tax matters.
• Provide Tax advice to OMBs, such as corporation tax planning, R&D claims, property acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, capital allowances, EMI option schemes and some international tax matters
• Provide Tax advice to business owners, including income tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax/estate planning
• Maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies such as HMRC while carrying out enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research,
• Supervise and review the compliance work on some of the firm's larger and more complex corporate clients.

Marks Sattin are collaborating with an award winning Consultancy is a fast-growing, wanting to expand their Tax team in the North West by bringing in a Mixed Tax Manager.

The Role

This role is the perfect step for an Assistant Manager/ Manager who is looking for their next challenge. This role also offers opportunities for progression. A key part of the role will be to manage and develop the talented people within your team, while working with the Tax Partners. The role is a mixture of management responsibilities and advisory work on clients that vary in size.

Day to Day

• Be a key point of contact for clients regarding Tax matters.
